Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia—Antone created a four-piece sculpture group in public over 14 months on the beach at Surfers Paradise, with volunteers and funded by public donation. “The Elements” are now a well-recognized and photographed group of sculptures, seen by tourists from all over the world who visit the Gold Coast. They were voted “Most Popular Public Art” by the residents of the Gold Coast in 2004.
