Antone Bruinsma contemporary stone sculpture

"Fringe Dweller" highlights the habitat that most Australians call home - along the coastline. Symbolically, the crab-like creature emerges from the ground (our relatedness to this land) and the human "claw" holding the fish signifies our connectedness and curiosity - even fear - with the sea.
